Burnhopeside Hall is a fantastic wedding venue, and with the beautiful weather, lovely couple, fun guests, tipi, marshmallow toasting, bouncy castle, lollipop bouquet, pinata, great music... what more could you wish for? What an absolutely brilliant wedding! Congratulations Caroline and George.

Burnhopeside Hall is a grade 2 listed country house about 7 miles west of Durham. It has some stunning rooms, and feels so lovely and homely inside that it makes a fantastic place to host family before and after the wedding.

With 18 acres of gardens and woodland there is plenty of space for some stunning wedding photos, and to site tipis or a marquee for the wedding reception. With ample spaces for parking and easy access for mobile wash rooms, caterers, and bouncy castle - it really is the perfect venue for a relaxed but beautiful wedding in County Durham
