There are a lot of castles in county Durham, but Walworth Castle has to be one of my favourites as a wedding venue - the lighting in the wedding breakfast room is wonderful! Originally an open courtyard, there is now a glass roof which lets in plenty of natural light, so unlike some of the other castles, you don't need to worry about dark and dingy wedding reception photos!Mark and Michelle had the room decorated beautifully, the colours worked perfectly with the castle's stone walls, and the day was filled with love and happiness.
