Escrick Park Woodland Wedding

I honestly don't know where to begin with writing about Steph and Bre's wedding. It was unique! It was probably one of the most personalised weddings I've been to.

The brides both arrived separately in camper vans, with their own set of bridesmaids in tow, and entered a woodland ceremony area on the Escrick Park estate.

The ceremony was delivered by the fantastic Louisa of Starr Gazing Ceremonies. I've never witnessed a ceremony like it! She had personalised every aspect, including the playlist, to Steph and Bre. There was a point where all the guests were invited to stand up and hug someone they didn't know, there was a handfasting ceremony, which involved a radish grown on their grandmother's allotment, there were laughs, tears, and wedding selfies - I learned so much about the couple in that ceremony - for me, it was EXACTLY what a wedding ceremony should be!

After the fun and heartwarming ceremony, there were drinks and canapes served near the woodland in the sunny summer weather, while we did some photos - I couldn't resist a fun camper van shot (though I did hear the camper's proud owner stating that it was a silly photo because the camper van has NEVER needed to be pushed!).

Everyone traveled to Sherburn for the village hall wedding breakfast - the Old Girl's School was decorated beautifully and there were even more lovely personal touches here.

What a truly unique, and perfectly formed wedding! Congratulations!
