It was a windy day in October when I arrived at Gisborough Hall - but what a fantastic view as I approached! The grounds were perfectly kept and the autumn colours were fantastic.

Steph and Drew had planned a wonderful wedding. The venue was grand and stunning, the flowers and dress beautiful. They had a string quartet playing in the ceremony room as close family and friends relaxed in the cosy lounge with real fire roaring away. Although the surroundings were very grand and formal, the wedding itself felt intimate and easy.
The couple's son was part of the ceremony, and although a little overwhelmed at times, he had a fantastic time!

We ventured outside for some formal photos despite the wind. One strong gust even lifted the bride's veil straight off her head and we all watched as it hovered around a bedroom window and then flew away over the rose garden. Luckily one intrepid guest managed to rescue it from a tree!

After speeches and the wedding breakfast, all guests retired to another room to be entertained by a magician. He did not fail to impress!

A fantastic day with a really lovely intimate and warm atmosphere, with beautiful details, and excellent entertainment. And Gisborough Hall was the perfect setting. Congratulations to Steph and Drew.

Andy Larmouth, the magician, was excellent and had the whole room captivated! For more information about him - here is his website: https://andylarmouth.com
