Leeds Town Hall is a fantastic example of a registry office - it's not the typical ugly council building type of place you often find registry offices. Being so central is also an advantage, after getting married at the Town Hall you can move your celebrations on to pretty much any restaurant or bar nearby without having to worry about transport arrangements.

Ceremony times
Available between 9:15am and 4pm Tuesday to Friday and up to 3:45pm on Saturdays.
The £57 wedding is only held on the last Monday of each month - this is a basic ceremony with only the couple and 2 guests. No music or readings.

Woodhouse Lane Car Park (0.4 miles, 9 minute walk):
Pay and display, cash and card accepted - not american express, charges every day of the week.

Leeds train station is 0.6miles 12 minute walk.
Leeds city bus station is 0.8miles 17 minute walk

The steps outsode the Town Hall are very grand, but there is often a large advertising banner up, so this can make your wedding photos look less nice!
Biodegradable confetti is allowed outside, but only when the doors are closed.
