What better place for fun and relaxed wedding photos than at the brightly coloured beach huts by the sea at Saltburn?
The day began at the Spa Hotel, Saltburn - a fantastic sea-side wedding venue. With rooms for guests to stay overnight, parking, a great view of the sea, and close to some great wedding photo opportunities, this venue is excellent for a sea side wedding.
Vik and Jen chose to include their children in the wedding, and what a brilliant decision it was! They were so enthusiastic about everything - even at our initial meeting the kids were bubbling about all the fantastic things they had planned!
Practicing their readings and getting excited about the celebrations to come, the kids brought so much energy to the preparations!
The ceremony was lovely, and included a candle lighting ceremony, and personalised promises from each bride to the other's children - it was a nice touch, and perfectly ended with a new family group hug!
After the ceremony, all guests went outside to the terrace overlooking the sea to enjoy their gin cocktails, and bubble wands before I went down to the sea front with the brides and the children.
The brightly coloured beach huts fit in perfectly with the rainbow themed day - a rainbow cake and the kids wearing different coloured converse continued the theme, which ended with face paints on everyone by the time the DJ had started.
Heartfelt speaches tugged out a few emotions, especially the double act by two of the children!
Another break outside while the ceremony room was prepared for the evening entertainment. And what entertainment it was! The first dance was followed by a perfectly choreographed family dance!
